SURF TRAVEL NIGHT 2011
Another classic night was had hear on Wednesday night with the guys from World Surfaris and the Billabong crew coming down to talk all things travel. Just want to thank everyone who came along to check it out and I hope it got your travel juices flowing, I know im frothing on a few of those new camps and boats!
Thanks again to World Surfaris, Shaun and the guys put on a hell of a show as usual and it looks like they have heaps going on with a couple of new destinations and plenty of old favourites worth checking out. Thanks also goes out to Billabong, who had their top Junior rider Ryan Callinan scribbling out some autographs (whilst nursing a broken ankle from one of his massive punts!), Sasha and Chad who ran us through the latest must have Stretch boardies.
Thanks also to the Christian Surfers for running the BBQ and keeping everyone well fed.
The happiest man on the night was VLAD who scored the $500 travel voucher and looks like will be heading over to check out the East Java WAVE PALACE! Head to our facebook page for a few photos of the night and head to worldsurfaris.com for the best travel deals!
SURF TRAVEL NIGHT 2010
This years Primitive Surf Travel Night was another killer evening. Big thanks to World Surfaris who presented some killer deals (including a week in Samoa for roughly a grand! What the????). Another big thanks to Strategic Airlines who are sticking it to the big names and definately making Bali a cheaper option for Brisbane surfers. Thanks also to the Christian Surfers for keeping the snags cooking. Finally a huge thanks to you guys for coming down and making it a stellar evening.
I think most people will agree that the footage of Scardy's barell was probably the highlight of the evening and definately takes the shine off my last cover up with his monster paddle in tube at a maxing Cloudbreak recently! Jake Harrison kept the theme of charging going by picking up a Dakine multi cover for winning the photo competiton with a shot of himself having a decent go in solid waves somewhere in West Timor.
The happiest camper of all on the night though probably had to go to Matt Nickerson after winning a week in Bali with accommodation at Blue Pools Resort at Ulus and return Airfares for two courtesy of Strategic Airlins, Blue Point Resort and World Surfaris. Enjoy that one mate.
Big thanks to Billabong and Dakine aswell for keeping us all buffed out with a heap of billabong hats and other gear and for the rundown on their latest stretch boardies range (which are a neccessity for any travelling surfer).
Thanks guys and catch you all down here next year!
